When trade agreements are established and accounted for, trade agreement data are included in the following OTE tables. These are very useful for adapting or solving technical problems that arise in the agreements. As mentioned in my previous article, the commercial contract is the agreement between the company – the customer or the company – the seller on different prices and discounts. As part of the trade agreement, different prices (sale price, purchase price) and discounts (line discounts, multi-line discounts and global discounts) are agreed for different sales and purchases over a period of time, which are established in the system. It is also called as price/discount agreements, for an obvious reason that it is used to set up prices and discounts in the system. Expected result: The discount contract for several lines is established and the discount amount is set at $4 for all items in the “01” discount group that are selected in the agreement and apply to `US-001` debitors. Two percentages of discounts are also set. The percentage of discount 1 is set at 3% and the percentage of discounts 2 to 4%. It applies to the quantity between 50 and 99 and valid between 17-05-2020 and 16-05-2021.

Discount groups must be arranged differently for each type of business. Select an option in the “Show” drop-down field. 17. Currency – Amount in currency: this is the currency in which trade agreements are established. Once the currency has been selected in the trading line, we can add the corresponding amount in the Currency field in the chord line. When orders are created in this currency and prices or discounts are demanded by orders, this “currency” is also used as a parameter for the search for active trade agreements. Once active trade agreements have been found, the amount (in currency) automatically becomes applicable to orders. In the price agreement, it is the sale or purchase price of the item. In the case of discount agreements, this is the amount of the discount of the item or various groups of receivables on the accounts > magazines > price/discount-> price statements/discounts See the details of the price agreement you have just created.

This way, you can create, validate, book, display trade agreements in D365. – PriceDisctable (entry is addressed to this table when the registration of the trade agreement is reserved. It has the same data that are visible from the “trade agreements” form for the article, the debtor and the lender) This contribution is the continuation of my latest contribution: Trade agreements (price/discount) in AX – Setup, where I explained the important adjustments needed before we established trade agreements in AX. 20. Price unit: this is the number of item units to which the unit price (money amount) applies. By default, it is set at 1. If the price unit is changed to 10, the price set in The Currency is for 10 item units.
